The Service Experts Family is Helping to Give One Lucky Family a Furnace

We are well past Christmas but BW/Cook Service Experts is continuing the season of giving into February. The HVAC and plumbing company who services the areas near Elkhart and South Bend, Indiana, is partnering with ABC-57 in South Bend to give a one lucky home a brand new Lennox furnace.

“We wanted to help a family stay safe and warm during the heating season,” said Mick Hoeflinger, General Manager of BW/Cook Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning. “We were fortunate to be able to partner with Lennox and ABC-57 to provide a new furnace to a family in our community.”

The winning family will get an ML 195 model furnace from Lennox, one of the business’s premier names in home heating and cooling equipment. The unit normally costs approximately $4,500. The ML 195 has an AFUE (annual fuel utilization efficiency) rating of 95%, so it will save the winning family money over time through lower energy bills. BW/Cook Service Expert’s qualified and professional technicians, who are skilled in installing a wide variety of makes and models of heating and cooling equipment, will install the system and walk the new owners through the best operating practices.

BW/Cook Service Experts is always thrilled to be involved with the community. They are currently sponsoring a local youth hockey team at the Ice Box in South Bend. They also plan to sponsor various local teams this spring and summer, including the Concord Baseball Team from Elkhart.

“We have been a part of our community for over 100 years. We care about the comfort of our customers, and it means the world to us to bring a little extra comfort to a family who may be in need,” said Hoeflinger.

This isn’t the only time Service Experts has stepped in to help a community member in need. In 2012, Service Experts upgraded the heating and air conditioning system of a family in the Valparaiso, Indiana area. The family’s five-year old son was being treated for a rare brain tumor and, because of his damaged immune system, the indoor air quality of his home was vital to protecting his health. Two years later, Roy Inch and Sons Service Experts in Canada donated a complete new HVAC system, with installation, to a mother of two boys whose husband had passed away. That same year, Gordon’s Service Experts donated a brand new HVAC system to a family who lost everything in a house fire.
