Midland Air Service Experts was excited to sponsor the Midlands Ride for Kids in April. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has raised money for this incredible event that benefits the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the leading nonprofit funding research into childhood brain tumors. The proceeds fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial aid for families.
Midland Air Service Experts contributed $1000 to this wonderful cause and the nationwide event has gathered over $500,000. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been volunteering for the event since 2014 and her dad’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids annually.
“My dad’s motorcycle club participates every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for an amazing cause.” Take a look at Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The generous motorcycle group may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it for the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air adores being involved in their community and sponsoring wonderful events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To learn more about how you can get involved and help the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, go to their site.
